progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – As many as 31 problematic personnel in Polda Metro Jaya and Polres have been cursed by Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Karyoto. They were cursed because they were considered to be stubborn and unwilling to change.
In his explanation after giving the curse Kapolda Karyoto stated, that the 31 personnel who were given dishonorable discharge (PTDH) or dismissal were involved in various problems. Starting from drug cases to sexual deviations.
“As of December 2024, as many as 31 problematic personnel with details of 5 members of Satker Mapolda and 26 members of Satker Polres Polda Metro Jaya i condemn the dismissal,” said Kapolda Karyoto after the PTDH ceremony at the Balai Rapat Metro Jaya (BPMJ) Building, Friday, (3/1).
“Those i condemned for dismissal consisted of 8 people related to drug abuse cases, 15 people in desertion cases, 1 person in embezzlement or fraud cases, 4 people in adultery cases, 2 people in unregistered marriage cases and 1 person involved in LGBT,” he added.
He also said, that the verdict of condemnation for dismissal was actually very unfortunate. However, it must still be done in order to maintain the integrity and responsibility of each Polri personnel.
Furthermore, Kapolda Karyoto also asked the Commander or Head of Unit to be stricter in carrying out supervision. He really hopes that in the future there will be no more Polda Metro Jaya and Polres personnel who commit violations.
“Commanders and superiors must be more assertive in carrying out their coaching functions towards their respective members. Carry out Waskat (inherent supervision) and Wasdal (supervision and control) to the maximum. We are all religious. I also remind you to follow the law of each religion as a means of self-control to distinguish between what is good and bad,” he explained.
“Today’s incident is also a lesson for all of us. Don’t let it happen again. Don’t hurt yourself and don’t hurt your family,” he added as a reminder. (Bembo)
