progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – The Polri’s Public Relations Division together with journalists carried out a noble act of sharing free fast-breaking takjil to motorists. This activity was carried out near the red light at the Polri Headquarters (Mabes) today, Thursday, (28/3).
This time, activities that are routinely held every year are made different this year in Ramadhan. The generals of the Polri’s Public Relations Division were also involved, starting from the Head of the Kadiv Humas Polri, Irjen Pol Sandi Nugroho, to the three generals who served as bureau heads, namely Karopenmas of the Polri’s Public Relations Division, Brigjen Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Karo Multimedia of the Polri’s Public Relations Division, Brigjen Pol Gatot Repli Handoko and Karo PID Polri’s Public Relations Division, Brigjen Pol Tjahyono Saputro.
Generals and journalists stood at red lights to distribute takjil in the form of snacks such as bread, cakes and drinks to drivers ranging from online motorcycle taxis (ojol), bus drivers to other residents.
Not only generals and journalists, policewomen from the Polri’s Public Relations Division were also deployed to help distribute 1,000 takjil packages.
The drivers who were given immediately expressed their thanks to the members of the Polri Public Relations Division and journalists who shared their blessings in this holy month.
Kadiv Humas Polri, Irjen Pol Sandi Nugroho said, that the activity of distributing free takjil to motorists and journalists was a form of synergy between the Polri and the media.
“This activity is also a positive activity, especially in the holy month of Ramadhan which is full of blessings. Sharing with fasting people is a good practice,” said Irjen Pol Sandi.
He hopes, that with this activity the community can feel the presence of the Polri whose task is to protect, serve and protect the community.
“This is a form of Polri getting closer to the community so that Polri is always in the hearts of the community,” he said.
Furthermore, Irjen Pol Sandi also expressed his hope that this positive activity could spread throughout Indonesia in always peaceful and safe conditions, especially after the 2024 elections.
