progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – The Transparency Society Committee (KMT) apparently also paid attention to the extortion and assault case in Asahan carried out by two bandits named Pontas Sibarani and Budiman Krisman Sibarani against victim Syahbuki Hasibuan. As a result of the assault, victim Syahbuki suffered severe head injuries that caused his vision to be blind in his left eye.
This case is being handled by the Polsek Kisaran City who have arrested the perpetrator Budiman. Meanwhile, another perpetrator, Pontas, has not been caught.
Responding to this, the Chairman of the KMT Presidium, Abu Yazid, said that the fact that the perpetrator Pontas had not been caught was unreasonable. With all the knowledge and detective skills they have, it is embarrassing for the Polsek Kisaran City Criminal Investigation Unit who were unable to catch Pontas.
“Who is Pontas? Brian Colin Charrington, a repeat offender from England who is one of the 10 most wanted criminals by the European police. No, no. His steps can still be measured. And he also has a wife who can be used by the police as a bargaining chip so that Pontas surrenders himself,” said Abu Yazid critically, Tuesday, (1/7).
“Or if they admit that the quality of their criminal investigation capabilities are not capable of tracking the suspect’s whereabouts, they can ask for help from the Polres Asahan Criminal Investigation Unit or the Jatanras Sub-Directorate or the Resmob Sub-Directorate of the Polda North to help arrest him,” said Abu Yazid in a pessimistic tone.
“Now the public is waiting for proof of the Polsek Kisaran City Criminal Investigation Unit’s ability to arrest Pontas. How far is their ability? Don’t just be a brawler. This case has become a widespread spotlight, not just a spotlight in Kisaran District,” he added.
Abu Yazid emphasized again, this case is actually getting stranger because Bandit Pontas Sibarani has secretly agreed to make peace for Rp20 million with the victim Syahbuki Hasibuan on Monday, (30/6) night. Bandit Pontas was also able to freely go to the victim’s house free from the monitoring of the Polsek Kisaran City Criminal Investigation Unit. And even funnier, after making peace, the victim Syahbuki disappeared from circulation. Likewise with Pontas who disappeared again.
“Reflecting on this reality, there is an allegation that there is a hidden agenda between Bandit Pontas and the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Polsek Kisaran City. Why is there no peace at the Polsek Kisaran City? There is a Police Report or LP for this case there. What is going on? We can report the alleged involvement in this case to Propam so that it can be investigated immediately. We’ll just have to see what happens later,” Abu Yazid emphasized again.
Meanwhile, Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Polsek Kisaran City, Ipda Riswan when contacted by progresifjaya.id said, that the perpetrator Pontas had not been caught because his whereabouts had not been traced. Moreover, the perpetrator Pontas, he continued, is also not a resident of Kisaran but a resident of Pematangsiantar.
“Pontas and Budiman are residents of Siantar. We also arrested Budiman in Siantar. However, Pontas seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth. We have not been able to detect his whereabouts. The house where he lives in Siantar is also empty,” Ipda Riswan explained.
Even so, he continued, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Polsek Kisaran City continues to track Pontas’ whereabouts. His staff have come to Siantar several times to look for Pontas. The 2.5-hour journey via the toll road from Kisaran to Siantar was devoured to hunt Pontas. However, it has not yielded results.
“We want to arrest and process Pontas as soon as possible. And we will use all means to arrest him. Just pray that we can catch Pontas soon,” he said, hoping for support. (Bembo)
