progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – Polda Metro Jaya held free health services (bakkes) and set up a public kitchen at GBK in order to secure the May Day 2024 celebrations.
This service is a policy and direction from the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Karyoto as a form of attention for the workers who attend the celebration.
Two public kitchens were established by the Samapta Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya in collaboration with Korbrimob Polri at the location. This public kitchen specifically prepares food and drinks for action participants.
Apart from preparing food, Polda Metro Jaya also prepared 50 medical officers from Biddokes Polda Metro Jaya to provide free health services. This service is provided in collaboration with BPJS and Kimia Farma.
“There are around 150 fellow workers who are being served by carrying out health checks in consultation, checking blood sugar and blood pressure. We are also preparing 2 ambulances and a home visit car for emergency evacuation,” said Kabid Humas of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi in GBK today.
Furthermore, he also expressed his full appreciation from Polda Metro Jaya for holding the May Day celebrations in Jakarta which took place safely and in an orderly manner. Polda Metro Jaya admitted that there were no significant disruptions during the May Day Fiesta activities.
