progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – A brawl broke out on Jalan Pangeran Jayakarta, Jakarta Pusat, Sunday, (8/9) early morning. A teenager with the initials MF (16) died in the brawl.
Kabid Humas of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi said in his statement, that the brawl between the two groups was brutal because both groups armed themselves with sharpened bamboo and sharp weapons (sajam).
“When the victim’s group tried to attack with sharpened bamboo, the opposing group did not flinch and attacked back with sharp weapons until the victim’s group retreated to Jalan Mangga Besar,” said Kombes Pol Ade Ary, Monday, (9/9).
While trying to run backwards, Kombes Pol Ade Ary continued, the victim suddenly tripped over the bamboo and fell. The victim ended up being the target of the opposing group who finished him off with sharp weapons.
“One of the opposing group swung a sharp weapon he was carrying at the victim’s head until the victim suffered a laceration to the head,” he said again.
After the victim was completely beaten by the opposing group, the perpetrators immediately fled the scene. Meanwhile, the victim MF was declared dead due to a slash wound.
“Upon arrival at the Sawah Besar Hospital, the victim was declared dead. The victim was then taken to the RSCM for a post-mortem. The perpetrator is under investigation,” said Kombes Pol Ade Ary.
The police themselves are currently conducting an investigation and further investigation regarding this case. (Bembo)
