progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – A woman named Melody Sharon (31) acted cruelly by dragging her husband, AG (35), in a car after being caught cheating in Cipayung, Jakarta Timur. As a result of this cruel act, the victim suffered a broken right leg.
The Kapolres Metro Jakarta Timur, Kombes Pol Nicolas Ary Lilipaly in his official statement before reporters said, that the incident occurred on Friday (8/12). Melody Sharon’s behavior which went viral for having an affair with two men immediately boomed due to her cruel actions. Even so, said Kombes Pol Nicolas, the Polres Metro Jakarta Timur only focused on handling domestic violence following the reports received. Meanwhile, Melody’s alleged cheating or adultery was reported to the Polda Metro Jaya and handled by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation.
“Melody’s alleged affair was reported to Polda Metro Jaya in relation to (Article) 284 of her adultery. Meanwhile, we at Polres Metro Jakarta Timur are handling the domestic violence case to eliminate domestic violence,” said Kombes Pol Nicolas.
It was explained, that based on the results of the investigation, it was discovered that Melody often committed domestic violence against her legal husband. The bad habit finally hit its rock when Melody dragged her husband using a car.
Melody Sharon has now been named a suspect by investigators and is being detained for the domestic violence case against her husband. She was charged with Article 44 paragraph (2) of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2004 concerning Domestic Violence (KDRT).
Meanwhile, in her confession Melody admitted that she was indeed having an affair with another man. Because her actions were caught by her husband, she panicked and lost her mind and had the heart to run over and drag her husband using a car.
The police revealed Melody’s confession that she ran over and dragged her husband, AG, using a car. The heinous act was carried out because the perpetrator was caught having an affair.
“The suspect was known by the victim to be picking up another man. However, when approached by the victim, the suspect refused and got into the car,” explained Kombes Pol Nicolas Ary Lilipaly.
At that time, the victim tried to get into the car. But the suspect ignored him and continued to step on the gas. But the suspect also admitted that he knew that the victim’s right leg had entered the front left seat of the car.
“But the suspect, who was already panicking, continued to drive his car at high speed so that the victim suffered a broken right leg after being dragged for 200 meters,” said Kombes Pol Nicolas again. (Bembo)
