progresifjaya.id, BANDUNG – A very communicative and interactive nuance is felt when stepping foot in Satpas Polresta Bandung Soreang at Bojong Sayang Number 23, Pananjung, Cangkuang, Bandung Regency, West Java. Not just small talk. Because this is indeed the impression progresifjaya.id felt when seeing the operational model and pattern of the Satpas crew directly, Tuesday, (25/2) morning.
One interesting thing that was quickly recorded was a medium-sized wooden table that was piled up in the front yard of the Satpas. Several wooden and plastic chairs also accompanied the table. But this is not just any table, you know. Because there are a number of officers who are seen sitting relaxed there. There are Kasat Lantas of Polresta Bandung, Kompol Danu Raditya Atmadja, Wakasat Lantas of Polresta Bandung, AKP Agus Budi and Head of Subunit Regident, Ipda Danang Sedjati. They seemed to be chatting casually and discussing accompanied by a glass of black coffee and boiled tuber snacks.
Not long after, an applicant came to the table and sat down and tried to complain. It seemed that the officers listened carefully to the complaint that was voiced. After that, Kasat Lantas Danu took turns speaking and giving direction and input to the applicant who complained. It really became an interactive communication network from both parties. Kasat Lantas Danu and the other officers were clearly trying their best to serve and find solutions to the complaints complained by the applicant.
Not only the applicant, the table turned out to be like the welcome table of the Soreang Satpas. Anyone could come to the table and sit down and say hello while hanging out for coffee with the officers who had already stopped by there. There were absolutely no hierarchical boundaries. Really nice chat at the same table, bro. Awesome.
After letting go of the fun impression about the table, now we move on to the flow of the Satpas operational mechanism for SIM applicants. The step by step process for applicants to make SIMs looked neat and tidy. Starting from the orderliness of applicants taking health and psychological tests, then filling out forms, taking written and practical tests, to the question of sitting in line waiting for the announcement of the test results.
The Satpas staff also continue to go back and forth paying attention to applicants and are quick to help applicants who are having difficulties. All of these dynamics are also under the supervision of the Provost so it is quite difficult to say blah-blah-blah in quotation marks. One sign that the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) mechanism is already running at this Satpas.
Kasat Lantas of Polresta Bandung, Kompol Danu Raditya Atmadja in his official statement to progresifjaya.id said, that the work pattern at the Polresta Bandung Soreang Satpas indeed adheres to the principles of openness that are open to the people. All line crews at this Satpas are accustomed to being friendly and polite to anyone. And this flows uniformly from top to bottom.

“From the Kasat Lantas, Head of Registration Unit to the office boy, they have the same pattern in working. We consider everyone who comes here as a guest who must be respected and served. And we are also very open in working. No applicant is confused when taking care of a driving license here,” explained the officer with one jasmine from the 2010 B Akpol Rinaksa Sakalamandala Battalion some time ago.
Kasat Danu said, that one form of openness in working is easily seen from the activity of the wooden table in front of Satpas. It is certain that every day there is at least one officer on standby hanging out there.
While chatting pleasantly about this and that accompanied by coffee with the ranks, the officer is also quickly ready to serve applicants or anyone who comes to visit. This also includes officers or journalists. All are served with great friendliness.
“With the presence of officers on standby at the ‘cool’ desk, applicants feel very facilitated and helped in going through the SIM making process. Without any bureaucratic obstacles, applicants can directly approach the officers at the desk and voice their complaints. We will respond and serve them all politely and of course. And that is a personal satisfaction for all of us at Satpas Soreang,” he emphasized again. (Bembo)
