progresifjaya.id, BEKASI – An interesting case emerged in Bekasi Regency, West Java. Two men who planned to commit theft in a shop ended up fighting just coz of a cigarette. The brawl ended after the thief with the initials MRZ died after his neck was slashed with a sickle swung by the thief with the initials K alias Ken.
This incident occurred on Sunday, (4/8), at 03.30 WIB in the morning on Jalan Kampung Turi RT 05 RW 06, Sriamur Village, Bekasi Regency.
Kabid Humas of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi in his statement explained, that the chronology of the incident began when the perpetrator and victim walked together to the back of the shop they wanted to steal. They then took two wooden blocks and leaned the wooden blocks against the back wall of the shop. These wooden blocks were used as a medium to climb to the roof of the shop, and the perpetrator was the first to climb. After that, he asked the victim to come up. But the victim ignored the invitation because he was smoking.
Because the victim didn’t get up, the perpetrator then got down. After that, he asked the victim to get up again. But again the victim replied, ‘just a minute to finish a cigarette’,
“The perpetrator asked the victim to get up again, but unexpectedly the victim shouted at him. Annoyed and shocked because he was shouted at, the perpetrator quickly took the machete on the ground and immediately slashed the victim’s neck until it bled,” explained Kombes Pol Ade Ary.
After slashing the victim’s neck, the perpetrator ran towards the Ar-Ridho prayer room while throwing away the machete. He then took a motorbike parked at the prayer room and got out. On the way, he met the victim again and finally took the victim to the Bekasi City Hospital. But when he arrived at the hospital, the victim was declared dead.
The perpetrator was finally secured by the Polsek Babelan Criminal Investigation Unit. After that, the perpetrator was handed over to the Polsek Tambun Selatan for legal processing. Meanwhile, the victim’s body was sent to the Polri Hospital in Kramat Jati for an autopsy for investigation purposes. (Bembo)
