progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – Polsek Pasar Rebo are currently investigating the case of the driver of a white Daihatsu Sigra car who ran away after filling up with Pertamax petrol at a gas station in the Pasar Rebo area, Jakarta Timur. This case emerged after it went viral on social media.
In the video circulating on Friday, (19/7), the gas station operator can clearly be seen filling the car with petrol. After the filling process is complete, the officer then closes the car’s tank.
Eh, instead of paying for petrol, the car driver immediately stepped on the gas and left the location. The gas station officer who had been filling up petrol tried to stop the white Daihatsu Sigra car until it was dragged away while holding the car door handle.
Kapolsek Pasar Rebo, Kompol Haris Akhmat in his statement explained, that his party had checked the location of the incident at the gas station and was currently carrying out an investigation.
“Yes, that is indeed what happened. The victim was a gas station filling officer or operator,” said Kapolsek Haris, Friday, (19/7).
He explained, that the chronology of the incident began when the perpetrator, who was driving a white Daihatsu Sigra, filled Pertamax petrol worth Rp300,000. After the car was filled with Pertamax worth Rp300,000, the hole in the car’s gas tank was closed by the victim. Next, the victim walked over to the driver through the left door to receive payment.
After receiving the payment, the Daihatsu Sigra driver immediately accelerated and left the gas station. The shocked victim reflexively tried to stop the car while holding the car door handle. Unfortunately for him, the car wouldn’t stop instead he was dragged by the car. (Bembo)
