progresifjaya.id, AKARTA – The Narcotics Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya arrested two drug couriers with the initials R (41) and AF (40) in Tanjung Priok Village, Jakarta Utara. From the hands of the two couriers, evidence of 30 kg of crystal methamphetamine (sabu) was confiscated which was packaged in brown plastic wrap.
Dirresnarkoba of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Donald Parlaungan Simanjuntak in his official statement said, that the two drug couriers were arrested on Wednesday, (17/7) at around 17.30 WIB. Both of them were arrested thanks to information from the public to the police regarding drug transactions.
“This arrest is part of Operation Nila Jaya 2024. The two perpetrators admitted to carrying 30 kg of sabu in Medan, Sumatra Utara for distribution in Jakarta,” said Kombes Pol Donald, Saturday, (20/7).
Currently, he continued, the Ditresnarkoba of Polda Metro Jaya is investigating the dealer and the orderer of the 30 kg of sabu. He hopes that in the not too distant future the dealer and orderer of the methamphetamine will also be arrested.
“We will maximize the firm and measurable eradication of drugs in the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya. We will not give even the slightest space to drug dealers. We will wipe them out,” said Kombes Pol Donald. (Bembo)
