progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – Dittipidum Bareskrim Polri busted up two online gambling sites, namely Hot51 and 82gaming. In particular, the Hot51 site, apart from providing gambling games, this website also provides pornographic live streaming services.
Dirtipidum Bareskrim Polri, Brigjen Pol Djuhandani Rahardjo Puro in his official statement at a press conference said, that these two illicit sites are owned by a Taiwanese citizen with the initials K who is now on the wanted list (DPO).
“The servers for these two sites were tracked in Taiwan. But the operational office is in Karawaci, Tangerang, Banten. DPO WNA K employs Indonesian citizens to be part of this syndicate,” said Brigjen Pol Djuhandhani.
Apart from Tangerang, Banten, disclosure of the illegal work of this syndicate was also carried out in 5 other provinces, namely Jakarta in 2 locations, West Java in Bandung, Central Java in Semarang, Bali in Klungkung and South Sulawesi in Makassar.
“From this disclosure, seven suspects were identified. They are suspects CCW as marketing, SM as customer service, WAN as agent, and KA, AIH, NH, DT, ST as pornography hosts,” explained Brigjen Pol Djuhandhani.
“In the pornographic live streaming service on the Hot51 site, this syndicate recruits agents whose job is to look for streamers or hosts. The host’s job is to do live streaming in skimpy or sexy clothes, even taking off all their clothes until they are naked and having sex,” he said again.
Meanwhile, the agent in charge of recruiting hosts, continued Brigjen Pol Djuhandhani, also has a role in managing working hours and recording the performance of the host as well as distributing the host’s income or salary or bonuses.
He said again, that operationally this site was only on air in December 2023 until it was finalized by the Dittipidum Bareskrim Polri on June 24 2024. Even so, from this short operational duration the detected turnover reached Rp500 billion.
“We will coordinate with PPATK in accordance with our aim of implementing the criminal act of money laundering for asset tracing. If we get all the results, we will of course carry out further investigations regarding TPPU,” said Brigjen Pol Djuhandhani again.
However, unfortunately Brigjen Pol Djuhandhani didn’t explain the development of investigations and tracing efforts towards white labels or communities of online gambling site creators.
