Although in terms of age, his tenure is still considered young, but that does not mean that the actions of this man born on September 17, 1975 have not produced breakthroughs as a Pangdam.
It is important to note and always remember, since becoming the youngest Pangdam in Indonesia, Mayjen TNI Rudy Saladin has never stopped emphasizing all Kodam Brawijaya soldiers to always play an active role in realizing environmental sustainability and food security.
This active role was then manifested in real activities such as forest rehabilitation, cleaning up garbage and planting trees. Including the program to accelerate planting areas and pumping in the ranks of Kodam Brawijaya,
The breakthrough ideas he initiated can be interpreted as an effort by the TNI to get closer to the community. International Triathlon Open Tournament Panglima TNI Cup. The tournament which was the peak of the 79th Anniversary of the TNI at Kodam Brawijaya was attended by 1.079 participants and made it the largest Triathlon tournament ever held in Indonesia. And again, outside the euphoria of sports, it is also undeniable that this tournament is the key formula for Kodam Brawijaya to maintain its extra strength so that it is always close to the community.
The figure of Mayjen TNI Rudy Saladin as Pangdam Brawijaya himself is recorded in the Decree of the Panglima TNI Number Kep / 851 / VII / 2024 concerning Dismissal from and Appointment in Positions within the Indonesian National Army dated July 24.
The former aide to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) for the 2019-2021 period was promoted to Pangdam of Brawijaya, replacing Mayjen TNI Rafael Granada Baay who was transferred to become Pangdam of the Jaya.
Previously, the father of three children, the best graduates of the Military Academy (Akmil) in 1997 who received the Adhi Makayasa and Tri Sakti Wiratama, served as the Presidential Military Secretary (Sesmilpres) of the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg).
