progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – Polres Metro Jakarta Pusat and Polsek ranks are intensively carrying out mobile patrols on routes prone to teenage convoys ahead of breaking the fast. This step is considered effective because the Polres Metro Jakarta Pusat were able to catch hundreds of teenagers convoying with the alibi of sharing takjil.
Most recently, the results of the mobile patrol again netted 169 teenagers in the convoy, divided into 136 teenage boys and 33 teenage girls. Hundreds of teenagers were arrested from three locations, namely Jalan Gunung Sahari Sawah Besar, Fly Over Roxy Gambir and Jalan MH Thamrin Gambir.
In his official statement, Kapolres Metro Jakarta Pusat, Kombes Pol Susatyo Purnomo Condro said, that together with hundreds of teenagers, 16 flags, 1 banner, 34 fireworks firecrackers and 69 motorbikes were also confiscated. Of the 69 motorbikes that were confiscated, 54 motorbikes were subject to fines because they were not equipped with a driver’s license, STNK and helmet.
“In accordance with our commitment, the Polres Metro Jakarta Pusat and Polsek ranks will always provide a sense of security to residents. Today, we have translated that commitment again into a preventive strike effort to secure hundreds of teenagers who were convoying under the pretext of distributing takjil. We will no longer compromise on this is because it has violated the Kapolda’s Metro Jaya Edict in the month of Ramadhan,” said Kapolres Susatyo, Thursday, (4/4).
He also said, that regarding this issue the role of parents and teachers in schools is very significant. Parents and teachers are asked to be more active in developing, educating and directing teenagers so they can do better in the month of Ramadhan.
“We have to monitor it. Don’t let wrong social interactions outside that can ruin their future. Let’s prepare our children’s future on the right path,” he said again.
As is known, a few days ago the Polres Metro Jakarta Pusat and Polsek ranks also arrested hundreds of teenagers who were in the convoy. They were all educated and given direction and guidance so that they would not repeat their actions again.
Polres Metro Jakarta Pusat, as Kapolsek Susatyo said again, will never compromise and will not hesitate to carry out legal proceedings if proven to have violated the law.

“We don’t want our children to have to lose their lives in vain on the streets if a brawl breaks out. Attacking each other using firecrackers, using bamboo or skewers which can take lives or injure other people,” said Kapolres Susatyo.
“These teenagers must also be made aware and educated that sharing takjil does not require convoys and processions on the highway. It disturbs other road users. Sharing takjil can be given humanely to motorcyclists or passersby. There is no need to use convoys and processions. procession. Please understand and remember this affirmation carefully,” he continued, ending the statement. (Bembo)
