progresifjaya.id, MOJOKERTO – Kapolda of the East Java, Irjen Pol Imam Sugianto inaugurated the construction of the East Java Police Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) kitchen in the Aspol SPN complex, Puloniti Village, Bangsal District, Mojokerto Regency, Thursday, (2/13) yesterday.
The construction of this public kitchen was carried out by PT Guna Bangun Perkasa and is targeted to be completed in less than two months. This public kitchen was built with the aim of preparing thousands of free nutritious food packages (MBG) in Greater Mojokerto.
“This morning, together with the East Java Forkopimda and the Forkopimda of Mojokerto City and Regency and representatives of the national nutrition agency, we are here. The spirit is one, how to support the free nutritious food program ordered by the President so that it can be realized soon. Hopefully in March or April we can start preparing MBG,” said Kapolda Imam Sugianto after the groundbreaking.
In his official statement, Kapolda Imam also said, that the location of the SPN Dormitory Complex in Mojokerto is the right place to establish an SPPG kitchen. This kitchen with 47 personnel will later work to prepare around 3.500 MBG packages.
To support its performance, operational vehicles are also prepared to distribute food within a 30-minute radius.
“Distributed to 13 elementary schools and 3 villages as beneficiary communities. In the future, it is hoped that it will expand to other places and can prepare 6.000 MBG packages as the target recipients grow,” said Kapolda Imam hopefully.
Furthermore, Kapolda Imam also said, that in March, nine more SPPGs will be built in East Java. The locations will be in regional or rayon areas such as, Tapal Kuda, Mataraman, Malang Raya, or Kediri.
“Hopefully we can realize it soon and implement it massively to cover 90 million children and underprivileged communities in East Java,” he said.
