Today, Friday (28/3), the two-star Scorpio general who graduated from the Dhira Brata Akpol 1990 Battalion directly reviewed the condition of the homecoming traffic on the Pantura Artery Road, Bekasi Regency, West Java.
The review was carried out by Kapolda Karyoto from the Integrated Post of Operation Ketupat Jaya 2025 on Jalan Raya Rengasbandung, Kedungwaringin District, Bekasi Regency. He wanted to ensure the readiness of all personnel deployed to provide services and secure the homecoming traffic.
During the review process, a touching moment also occurred when Kapolda Karyoto was amazed to see homecoming travelers riding motorbikes carrying small children. The homecoming traveler who made Kapolda Karyoto amazed was apparently from Pemalang, the birthplace of Kapolda Karyoto.
Kapolda Karyoto’s emotion was even louder when he realized the homecoming traveler’s persistent struggle to return to his hometown for Eid. Together with his wife and small child, he drained his physical energy and concentration to complete the 226 km land trip from Jakarta to Pusere Jawa, Pemalang.
“The lady from the Health Office, please check the condition of your little child. Is he fit or not because this is a daytime trip. He (the little child, ed.) can’t talk much. Moreover, a child this small doesn’t know what he feels,” Kapolda Karyoto’s attention commanded for the homecoming traveler’s child.
Not only giving the command, Kapolda Karyoto also monitored the child’s examination. He wanted to ensure that the child’s physical condition remained fit during the land trip lasting around 8 hours.
According to Kapolda Karyoto, the role of the Health Service on duty at the post is very crucial because it has a referral to the nearest hospital. This is very important for people who need oxygen and other assistance because they can be quickly referred to the nearest hospital.
Returning to the question of Operation Ketupat Jaya 2025 held by Polda Metro Jaya ahead of Eid al-Fitr, Kapolda Karyoto said that the existence of an integrated post on the Pantura Bekasi route is very useful for travelers. The reason is, the post is on standby 24 hours providing health services, rest rooms, and reflexology.
“The integrated post is one of the supporters that can be utilized by people who are going home, especially those using motorbikes. Our hope is of course that they go safely and return safely.
