progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – The Public Relations Division (Bidhumas) of Polda Metro Jaya held a Technical Working Meeting (Rakernis) for Fiscal Year 2024 at the Diradja Hotel, South Jakarta, Tuesday, (28/5/). Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Karyoto himself directly opened the working meeting with the theme “Precision Bidhumas Polda Metro Jaya Ready to Support the Stability of Social Security and Order that is Conducive to the Democratic Process to Accelerate Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Transformation”.
In his opening remarks, Kapolda Karyoto expressed his thanks and gave high appreciation to the ranks of the Humas function of Polda Metro Jaya.
In his view, Humas of Polda Metro Jaya has been very proactive in following up quickly, professionally, proportionally, transparently and accountably for various negative and positive issues in the media regarding the performance of the Polri. He admitted that this excellent public relations performance has ensured that the good name of Polda Metro Jaya is very well maintained.
“Hunas is at the forefront of building public opinion regarding the performance of the Polri, as well as the latest information that the public needs. So transparency and accountability are the main keys to public relations performance,” he said.
More deeply, Kapolda Karyoto also encouraged all participants in the working meeting to continue to utilize external resources, especially partnerships with mass media, both print, electronic and online, in order to increase positive opinions towards the Polri.
Not to forget, he also conveyed 4 important things as an emphasis on ensuring that Polda Metro Jaya’s Humas performance could remain at a top level. The 4 important things that Kapolda Karyoto means are increasing monitoring of sensitive and prominent issues that have the potential to disrupt Kamtibmas or reduce public trust in the Polri.
Then he also emphasized that the dialogic approach activities which had the character of a cooling system in the remaining period of the general elections and the simultaneous Regional Head Elections which would be held could be further improved.
Then, he also emphasized optimizing communication, coordination and collaboration activities through the Humas Coordinating Board which involves the Ministry, Press Council, PWI, media, press members and other communities.
Finally, he also reminded all participants to always use Perkap Number 6 of 2023 concerning the Implementation of Public Relations within the Polri as a guideline. This aims to ensure that all State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the Polri can carry out the public relations function which continues to be embedded in the body, soul and behavioral characteristics in every sector of life.
The Technical Working Meeting (Rakernis) of Bidhumas Polda Metro Jaya for Fiscal Year 2024 was attended by 70 face-to-face participants from representatives of Satker ranks of Polda Metro Jaya. Meanwhile, from the virtual zoom meeting media, as many as 105 members of the Sihumas Polsek ranks also took part
Also seen accompanying Kapolda Karyoto at the opening of this working meeting were the Wakapolda of Metro Jaya, Brigjen Pol Suyudi Ario Seto, the Main Officials (PJU) and the Kapolres of the Polda Metro Jaya ranks, as well as the Kasihumas Polres ranks. (Bembo)
