This order was issued by Kapolda Karyoto to eliminate the stigma of iconic drug villages in areas such as Kampung Boncos, Kampung Bahari, and Kampung Ambon.
Dirbinmas Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Badya Wijaya explained in his statement, that the operations would be carried out simultaneously but were still kept secret for certainty.
“But the secret is where so that it doesn’t leak. So the Kapolda Metro Jaya attention will be to carry out repression in one of the areas. Yesterday there was an incident in (Kampung) Ambon, the police were on patrol and were attacked with stones,” said Kombes Pol Badya at the Metro Jaya Meeting Hall (BPMJ), Thursday, (1/8).
He said again, that in carrying out this simultaneous operation, TNI personnel would also be involved. Because, efforts to eliminate the dangers of drugs must be carried out by all elements.
“For repressive activities, In Syaa Allah, it will be carried out simultaneously in collaboration with the TNI-Polri. We are at war with drugs. Pity our generation who are branded and labeled in that area. Pity,” said Kombes Pol Badya again. (Bembo)
