progresifjaya.id, DEPOK – Kapolres Metro Depok, Kombes Pol Arya Perdana held a Ngopi Kamtibmas gathering activity at Setu Rawa Besar Pier, RT 01/06, Pancoranmas, Depok, on Saturday (14/9) night.
This activity was held by Polres Metro Depok as an effective means for residents to discuss environmental security and steps to create a conducive atmosphere, especially ahead of the simultaneous regional elections.
On this gathering occasion, Kapolres Arya Perdana conveyed his appeal to residents to maintain harmony and unity between neighbors even though there are differences in political choices.
“Differences in choices are normal. But we must continue to prioritize peace and togetherness between residents. Don’t let the regional elections divide the harmony that has been well maintained so far,” he said.
In addition, Kapolres Arya didn’t forget to also provide direction regarding Kamtibmas in the surrounding area. He also highlighted the increasing cases of brawls involving teenagers. He asked parents to pay more attention to their children.
“Recently, brawls have been increasingly rampant among teenagers. I hope parents can supervise their children’s activities more, especially when they gather with their friends,” he said.
Furthermore, Kapolres Arya also appealed to residents to reactivate the patrol post to prevent crimes such as motorbike thefts that often occur at night.
“Let’s strengthen environmental security by holding night patrols. Together, we can reduce the crime rate in this area,” he emphasized again. (Bembo)
