progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – Kapolres Metro Jakarta Timur, Kombes Pol Nicolas Ary Lilipaly didn’t deny that his members were arrested by the Polsek Sukmajaya detective team on suspicion of consuming crystal methamphetamine (sabu) in Cimanggis, Depok. However, he also emphasized that his members were not involved in the methamphetamine party along with 4 other members of the Polri.
In his official statement, Kapolres Nicolas said, that his members were at the crime scene because they responded to a telephone call from one of the suspects who was also his classmate. But unfortunately, it was while at that location that the ambush occurred.
“Our member, Dewo Nugroho, isn’t involved in parties or drug use. And this can be proven by the results of a urine test with negative results for drug elements,” said Kapolres Nicolas, Monday, (22/4).
He also explained that currently the member had been released by Propam Polda Metro Jaya and returned to duty at the Polres Metro Jakarta Timur.
“Our member has been released from arrest and has now resumed his duties as a member of the Polres Metro Jakarta Timur,” explained Kapolres Nicolas.
Previously, the Kabid Humas of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi stated that the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Karyoto was firmly committed to eradicating narcotics abuse at all levels, including within the Polri. Police officers who are proven to be abusing drugs will certainly receive strict sanctions.
