progresifjaya.id, YOGYAKARTA – Kapolri, Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo directly opened the 12th orientation week themed ‘Revitalization of the HIKMAHBUDHI Movement to Build the Country’ held by the Indonesian Buddhist Student Association (Hikmahbudhi) in Yogyakarta, Friday, (18/4) yesterday.
When giving his remarks, Kapolri Listyo Sigit voiced his invitation to Buddhist students to improve their skills and knowledge to support government programs.
The government programs referred to by the Kapolri are in the economic sector and to build superior human resources. In the economic sector, the programs include the Red and White Village Cooperative, Public Housing, Elimination of Bad Debts of MSMEs, to Downstreaming.
Then the government program to build superior human resources, such as Free Nutritious Meals, Construction of Public Schools, Improving Teacher Welfare, Free Health Checks and various other programs.
Therefore, Kapolri Listyo Sigit also really hopes that students can become agents of change in the future. He also wants students to be able to fortify themselves and society from drug crimes and online gambling.
In addition, Kapolri Listyo Sigit also invited students to be able to cultivate digital talents as provisions for building the nation. Especially in the current era of information technology advancement which is in phase 4.0 towards phase 5.0.
In addition, Kapolri Listyo Sigit also invited students to help educate the surrounding environment. This aims to ensure that they are not easily influenced by hoaxes or fake news, so that unity and togetherness are maintained.
“I am certainly optimistic that my friends, fellow Hikmahbudhi cadres can truly be the glue of diversity. Can become people with quality human resources who are ready to fight to fill the demographic bonus and become pioneers of the nation’s progress movement,” explained the Kapolri.
In this activity, Kapolri Listyo Sigit also received the Hikmahbudhi Awards for Exemplary Protectors and Patrons of the Community.
After that, he also took the time to review the UMKM group from Hikmahbudhi at the location.
