progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – Kapolsek Metro Tanah Abang, AKBP Aditya Simanggara Pratama together with the Deputy Mayor of Jakarta Pusat, Chaidir and Danramil Tanah Abang, Mayor Arm Hendry Nasution attended the 2024 Lebaran Tenabang celebration held by Sikumbang Tenabang at the Tanah Abang District office, Jalan KH Mansyur, Kebon Melati, Tanah Abang, Jakarta Pusat, Saturday, (11/5).
This celebration activity displays various typical Betawi arts. Starting from Betawi Silat choreography, Betawi Kreasi dance, Palang Pintu and a demonstration of Tenabang traditional silat moves. There were also social services to provide compensation for orphans and a bazaar as another form of celebration for Lebaran Tenabang 2024.
Kapolsektro Aditya Simanggara along with the leadership of 3 Pillars and other invited guests looked very enthusiastic about participating in the celebration event. They also really appreciate all the Betawi cultural performances demonstrated by today’s younger generation.
“We really hope that this Tenabang tradition can continue to be well preserved from generation to generation. We are also very proud that the old traditions of celebration and culture that are displayed are still very neat and original even though they are played by the current generation,” said Kapolsektro Aditya happily.
