progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – Minister of Defense and president-elect Prabowo Subianto received the Bintang Bhayangkara Utama from the Polri. This star pinning was carried out directly by the Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo in the Main Meeting Room (Rupatama) of the Polri Headquarters, Thursday, (20/4) afternoon.
Prabowo arrived at Polri Headquarters at around 14.00 WIB and was immediately greeted by Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Wakapolri, Komjen Pol Agus Andrianto and other main Polri Headquarters Officials.
Assistant Kapolri for Human Resources, Irjen Pol Dedi Prasetyo in his official statement said, that the Bintang Bhayangkara Utama Polri award to Minister of Defense Prabowo was a form of appreciation for cooperation in securing the Republic of Indonesia.
“Today the Kapolri awarded the Bintang Bhayangkara Utama award to Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto. This is an award given for reciprocal relations and cooperation in efforts to increase the security of the Republic of Indonesia,” said Irjen Pol Dedi Prasetyo.
He added, that Minister of Defense Prabowo had proven to have made great contributions to the progress and development of the Polri institution. On various occasions, Minister of Defense Prabowo also continued to remind the role and function of the TNI and Polri which are very important for the people and the country.
This support for strengthening the Polri was also conveyed by Minister of Defense Prabowo when he was a speaker at the national dialogue at the Polri Education and Training Institute Staff and Leadership School (Sespim Lemdiklat), Lembang, West Bandung Regency, West Java.
Defense Minister Prabowo at that time emphasized that the TNI and Polri were the final guarantee of the Republic of Indonesia. For this reason, the people need a strong TNI-Polri with strong and superior quality human resources.
For your information, the Bintang Bhayangkara Utama award is a sign of honor given by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to honor someone’s services in advancing and developing the Polri of the Republic of Indonesia.
In Kapolri Regulation Number 4 of 2012, it is stated that there are three honorary signs of the Bintang Bhayangkara , namely the Bintang Bhayangkara Utama, the Bintamg Bhayangkara Pratama, and the Bintang Bhayangkara Nararya.
