progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – Only a week after holding the command baton as Kapolda West Java, Irjen Pol Rudi Setiawan has provided authentic evidence of his capability, integrity and dedication as the leader of the Polri in West Java. In the implementation of Operation Pekat II Lodaya 2025 which was held from May 1 to May 10, 2025, up to the eighth day, 36 of the 44 operation targets were successfully uncovered. An achievement equivalent to 81.82% of the total target set.
This disclosure also recorded the security of 109 non-target perpetrators, then it was discovered that there were 98 victims, as well as the handling of 99 cases of thuggery in various areas, ranging from terminals, traditional markets, development projects, to land dispute areas and night entertainment.
Meanwhile, for evidence, 42 sharp weapons, 1 airsoft gun, 15 motorbikes, 4 cars, 8 cellphones, 46 documents, and cash amounting to Rp1.320.500 have been confiscated.
In his official statement uploaded to Instagram @humaspoldajabar, Kapolda Rudi Setiawan said the good achievement of this operation was the result of the work of 935 Polri personnel. They consisted of 185 Polda personnel and 750 personnel from regional units.
He also said, that this operation is a real form of the state’s presence to ensure a sense of security for the community.
“The Polda West Java are very serious and consistent in taking action against all forms of thuggery that disturb residents. Not only is it an action, this operation is also preventive through intelligence activities and community development. We are also targeting criminals who operate digitally,” said KapoldaRudi.
“And i am very optimistic that the Polda West Java can complete this operation with maximum results. I also ensure that the security and public order situation will always be conducive to support investment growth in West Java,” he added giving confidence. (Bembo)
