progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – There are other facts, apparently, regarding the case of seven teenage bodies that were found dead floating in the Bekasi River, Jatiasih. There were four other people who at the same time jumped into the river, but were successfully saved by the Precision Pioneer Patrol (3P) team of the Polres Metro Bekasi City.
This factual finding was revealed by the Kabid Humas of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Monday, (23/9).
“Aa 4 of them tried to escape into the Bekasi River but were saved by the Polres Metro Bekasi City 3P team,” said Kombes Pol Ade Ary.
He said, the initial chronology of the incident, the Polres Metro Bekasi City 3P Team received information that there were dozens of people gathered at the Jalan Cipendawa location. It is strongly suspected that they were going to engage in a brawl.
“The 3P Team of the Polres Metro Bekasi City initially conducted a cyber patrol. Well, from the cyber patrol they conducted, they found that there were people gathering on IG live. Based on the 3P Team’s analysis, it is suspected that they gathered to have a brawl,” said Kombes Pol Ade Ary.
“There was a group of teenagers, approximately 60 people, using 30 two-wheeled motor vehicles, drinking alcoholic beverages packaged in plastic and several sharp weapons were already available,” he added.
Well, when the 3P Team of the Polres Metro Bekasi City checked the location, the group of teenagers immediately dispersed and fled. Four people who jumped into the river to escape were saved. Except for the seven teenagers who also jumped into the river who were finally found dead.
“The incident happened at 03.30 WIB. The 3P Team arrived, the group fled. Some towards the housing alley, some towards the Bekasi River and tried to cross the river. And based on the statements of witnesses, there were 4 people who were saved by the 3P team,” explained Kombes Pol Ade Ary again.
He also said, that until now the police still do not know for sure how many people jumped into the river to escape from the pursuit of the 3P Team. The police are still conducting a series of investigations related to this matter.
Meanwhile, from the results of the raid on the group of teenagers in the early hours of the morning, 22 people were successfully secured. Three of them were named as suspects because they were found carrying sharp weapons.
Meanwhile, the seven bodies found floating in the Bekasi River are currently undergoing the identification process at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital. There have been four families who have reported missing people and come to the Police Hospital.
“The identification process for the seven bodies is still ongoing in 2 stages. First, antemortem or collecting information before death,” said Kombes Pol Ade Ary.
“And currently there are 4 families who have reported missing family members and brought data. With the antemortem data, a postmortem examination will be carried out, namely using data from the condition of the body. The clothes worn by the body at that time, the shape of the body’s teeth, and also the condition of the body,” he added. (Bembo)
