progresifjaya.id, PROBOLINGGO – Pangdam V/Brawijaya, Mayjen TNI Rudy Saladin appreciates the performance of Kodim 0820/Probilinggo which successfully implemented the program of increasing planting area or LTT in its territorial area. According to Pangdam Rudy, this success will be able to boost the achievement of food self-sufficiency, as a priority program initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture.
“This is extraordinary. This year, the achievement will be increased by two tons from the previous target,” praised Pangdam Rudy when visiting Kodim 0820/Probinggo, Friday, (10/1) yesterday.
Furthermore, Pangdam Rudy also gave a message to the soldiers of Kodim Probolinggo to be able to overcome all difficulties and complaints experienced by the community.
“The presence of members of the Probolinggo Kodim must really be felt by the community. That must be done, especially by Babinsa,” said Pangdam Rudy.
Meanwhile, the Territorial Assistant to Kasdam V/Brawijaya, Kolonel Inf Heri Wahyudi in his speech while accompanying Pangdam Rudy Saladin also conveyed a message to all territorial officers to support the food self-sufficiency program. Territorial officers were asked to record and maximize all tertiary irrigation channels in their areas. Including maximizing the water pumps that had been distributed previously so that they could harvest 3 to 4 times a year.
“Use all the potential in the region to make food self-sufficiency a success,” said Kolonel Inf Heri Wahyudi as a reminder.
Direction was also given by Asintel Kasdam V/Brawijaya, Kolonel Inf Krisbianto. He reminded all territorial officers to stay away from online gambling and other violations.
“All forms of violations must be avoided. Be a professional soldier, and maintain family harmony,” he requested.
Asops Kasdam, Kolonel Inf Eko Setyawan also gave direction. He asked all soldiers to always maintain basic soldier skills.
