progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – The night patrol activities of the Precision Pioneer Patrol (3P) Team of Polda Metro Jaya in the early hours of Thursday, (30/5) were considered humane. Even though this still does not eliminate the alertness and firmness that has become the trademark of this team.
Led by 2 young officers, namely Ipda Moch Januar Fauzy and Ipda Gandi Rezeki Sinaga from Platoon 2, at 00.45 WIB the 3P Team moved from Polda Metro Jaya to the Jalan Jenderal Sudirman area, Jakarta Pusat for a show of force patrol.
When they entered to search the West Jakarta area at around 01.00 WIB, the city patrol and monitoring Team 3P found 2 young men who were a little shaky while carrying alcoholic drinks on Jalan Patra, Jakarta Barat. A dialogue approach was taken and the two young men were asked to throw away the liquor they had brought. After the drink was thrown away, the two of them were immediately ordered to return to their respective homes.
At 01.20 WIB, still in the West Jakarta area, the 3P Polda Metro Jaya Team again found residents gathering in Bugis Village, Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta Barat.
A dialogical approach was again taken where residents were reminded if it was past midnight. Gathering activities at times like this are seen as having great potential to give rise to problems that could disrupt security and social security. Because of this, residents were asked to disperse and return to their homes.
When dawn arrived at around 04.30 WIB, the city patrol and monitoring patrol of the Polda Metro Jaya 3P Team again found 3 people acting peacefully on Jalan Tomang Raya, Grogol Petamburan, Jakarta Barat.
When approached and identified, these three people turned out to be the perpetrators of illegal levies (extortion) against truck drivers who were parked in the area. Luckily for the three of them, no evidence of a crime was found during the search.
As a solution, these three people were advised by 3P Team personnel not to carry out extortion against truck drivers if they were still afraid of the law. And thankfully they apologized and promised not to do it again. (Bembo)
