progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – Investigators from the Cyber Sub-Directorate of the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya continue to investigate and trace the first video spreader of a young mother with the initials R in Pondok Aren, Tangerang Selatan who recorded obscene acts abusing her own child. Two mobile phones belonging to the young mother were also examined.
R admitted that the video was spread to social media accounts by other people. The truth of this confession is still being investigated.
“The video that was first caught was shared by someone else via a social media account. We are investigating it to find out who first spread the video on social media,” explained Wadirreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Hendri Umar at a press conference, Wednesday, (5/6 ).
“We are also developing it because we only confiscated the suspect’s cellphone device two days ago. We confiscated it. We want to confirm whose account was the first to share it on social media,” he added.
Apart from that, he continued, investigators are also investigating a Facebook (FB) account called Icha Shakila (IS) which is suspected of ordering the perpetrator to make immoral videos with his child. The owner of Icha’s FB account is said to have ordered young mother R to follow her directions and was promised Rp15 million.
“Regarding the involvement of the IS account, the extent of its role. Is there direct involvement of IS because it was this IS account that ordered the action in the first place,” he said.
Currently, he continued, the IS FB account is no longer active. But his party will still try to identify the party who controls the account.
“The account has been dead since July 2023. Maybe after sharing the news on social media, the account died. But now it is in the process of development or investigation by our team to find out and identify who this IS account is,” he emphasized.
As previously reported, young mother R has been named a suspect and her mental health is still being examined. The reason is, when the incident occurred the victim was only 3 years old.
“The incident is very worrying because the perpetrator abused his biological child who was only 3 years old last year. Whatever the reason, the perpetrator is still guilty and violated the criminal law,” said the Kabid Humas of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi added. (Bembo)
