progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – Polda Metro Jaya is investigating a case of a dispute between two car drivers that resulted in the driver of a black Mitsubishi Pajero showing off an object allegedly resembling a firearm. This case has also gone viral on social media.
Kabid Humas of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi, said in his statement, that the police are currently looking for the identity of the Pajero driver who showed off the pistol. They will also find out whether the object that the perpetrator brandished was a firearm or not.
“We will investigate further. Who is the person, whether the object that was displayed was a firearm or not. We are currently in the process of investigating,” said Kombes Pol Ade Ary, Tuesday, (10/9).
He also said, that the police have currently questioned four witnesses as material for further investigation. A check of the location of the incident on the Kalibata flyover has also been carried out.
“Four witnesses have been questioned. There are security guards, buskers and parking attendants too. This incident is currently being investigated,” he said again.
As in the video upload circulating on Sunday, (8/9), an argument was seen between the Pajero driver and another car driver on the road. The two drivers continued to drive while arguing.
The video narration then stated that the Pajero driver initially wanted to change lanes. But because it was congested, there was a collision between the Pajero car and the video recorder’s car.
This triggered an argument between the two. Until then the driver of the black Pajero with a cowboy style took out an object that looked like a firearm and brandished it. (Bembo)
