progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – The case of a woman murdered and her body put in a suitcase was clearly revealed by the police. The suspect Ahmad Arif Ridwan Nuwloh or AARN (29) killed Rini Mariany (50) because he was hurt. He said he had the heart to kill the victim because he was offended by the victim’s rude remarks and pressured him to marry him.
Kapolres Metro Bekasi, Kombes Pol Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi in his official statement to journalists explained, Ahmad Arif Ridwan Nuwloh killed Rini Mariany in a hotel room in Bandung on Wednesday, April 24 2024. Before the murder occurred, the two of them were known to have been intimate and had a husband and wife relationship.
“After having sexual relations between husband and wife, a conversation took place where the victim asked the suspect AARN for responsibility, asking to marry him. But the suspect AARN refused,” explained Kapolres Twedi during a press conference at Polda Metro Jaya, Friday, (3/4).
It is said, that the victim also said words that the suspect thought hurt his feelings. This is what made the suspect darken his eyes and have the heart to kill the victim.
“The suspect AARN refused to marry the victim, so the victim said words that hurt the suspect’s feelings. Finally, the suspect, blindly, committed the act of hitting the victim’s head against the wall until it bled. When the victim was helpless, the suspect covered her mouth and nose and strangled the victim for 10 minutes to make sure the victim doesn’t move or breathe again,” he explained again.
The Dirreskrimum of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Wira Satya Triputra on the same occasion also expressed the same thing. The murder, he said, started when the victim asked the suspect to marry him. But the suspect answered that the relationship between the two was just for fun.
“The victim asked about the status of their relationship, namely ‘what do we want to do?’ Then the suspect answered, ‘it’s just for fun, we both want it’,” said Kombes Pol Wira.
But at that time the victim remained adamant about holding the suspect responsible for marrying her. The suspect, then Kombes Pol Wira, finally promised to marry the victim as long as he lent him the office deposit amounting to Rp43 million.
“The victim stated that in essence the suspect must be responsible for marrying the victim. The suspect answered, ‘if we borrow this deposit, we will get married’. But the victim refused. Then the suspect asked again, ‘do you want to get married or not’?” said Kombes Pol Wira.
As is known, the victim was a cashier for a private company operating in the food industry. Meanwhile, the suspect served as an auditor at the same company.
“Then the victim said that if she got married, she would be afraid to use the company’s money. The suspect replied, ‘i will be responsible if anything happens in this company’. Maybe because of her position as an auditor, she might be able to make a report on the company which could be conditioned by the suspect,” Kombes Pol Wira continued his explanation.
“The victim answered, ‘why are you dealing with something like this? i’m not taking part. i want to deposit the money. What are you doing with an auditor like you, you b****d’. These words probably aroused the suspect’s emotions and caused him to darken his eyes and hit the victim on the head until he fainted then covered his mouth and strangled him for 10 minutes until the victim died,” he added.
After killing the victim, the suspect then confiscated Rp43 million belonging to the company which the victim was supposed to deposit in the bank.
Kabid Humas of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi also added, that from this money the suspect bought a suitcase to store the victim’s body. And from that money the suspect also plans to hold a wedding reception which will take place on Sunday, May 5 2024.
It is known that the suspect just married his girlfriend on March 17 2024 in Tangerang. The wedding reception will be held in Palembang, the location where the police finally arrested the suspect. (Bembo)
