progresifjaya.id, DEPOK – Curve activities were carried out by the Polres Metro DepokĀ together with the Polda Metro Jaya l in the Campus Area of the International Islamic University of Indonesia/UIII, Sukmajaya District, Depok, Sunday, (23/6).
The implementation of curve activities in the context of Bhayangkara’s 78th anniversary aims to keep the environment clean, neat and pleasing to the eye. This includes carrying out actions to clean rivers and plant trees to maintain and preserve the balance of nature.
Kapolres Metro Depok, Kombes Pol Arya Perdana himself directly led this activity. Also participating were Dandim 0508 Depok, Kolonel Inf Iman Widhiarto, Wakapolres Metro Depok, AKBP Eko Wahyu Fredian, Mayor of Depok, represented by Aspemkesra of Depok City, Raden Gandara Budiana, Head of the Depok District Prosecutor’s Office, represented by Head of Intel, M. Arief Ubaidillah, Chancellor The UIII Campus was represented by the Head of the TU of the UIII Campus, M. Nur Hidayat, the Kapolsek ranks for the Polres Metro Depok, as well as representatives from the Polda Metro Jaya and the local community.
In his remarks, the Kapolres Metro Depok, Kombes Pol Arya Perdana said, that this activity was a concern for the Polres Mero Depok to get closer to the community, while also maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of Depok City.
“We want the 78th Bhayangkara Day to be a momentum for all of us, both the police and the community, to work together to keep the environment clean. This is also a form of our appreciation to the people of Depok who always support the duties and responsibilities of the Polri,” said Kapolres Arya in his speech.
Apart from the curve activities, the Polres Metro Depok at this moment also carried out social services by distributing basic necessities to residents around the campus.
People who took part in this activity, when randomly asked for their opinions, admitted that they were happy and enthusiastic. Abdul Razak, one of the residents who participated, said that this activity was very positive and it was hoped that it could continue.
“This activity is very good for increasing public awareness about the importance of environmental cleanliness. I hope events like this can be held regularly,” he said happily.
