progresifjaya.id, DEPOK – Polres Metro Depok are tracking down the perpetrator’s number related to the fictitious cake order case impersonating former Dandim 0805/Depok Kolonel Inf Elvino Yudha Kurniawan. This case is still under investigation and the search for the perpetrator.
Kapolres Metro Depok, Kombes Pol Arya Perdana in his statement explained, that currently his party is still investigating the possibility of more than one perpetrator. This is because the perpetrator used 2 different numbers.
“We are still investigating (the number of perpetrators) if there is one active cellphone number, there is probably more than one perpetrator,” he said on Thursday, (5/9), while adding that the perpetrator used the pay on the spot method and asked the victim to order the goods.
For information, the owner of a cake shop in Depok previously reported a fictitious order impersonating former Dandim 0805/Depok Kolonel Inf Elvino Yudha Kurniawan to Polres Metro Depok.
“We received a report from the Dandim yesterday. Suddenly there were cakes for the handover of office, one in the name of the Dandim, one in the name of the old Dandim,” said Kapolres Arya.
He also said, that the two cakes made by the victims were worth millions of rupiah. Meanwhile, the Kodim itself admitted that it had never ordered the cakes.
“There were two cakes. If you make them, the price is quite large, millions, sent there. The Kodim never ordered the cakes. So we suspect that someone is trying to defraud the victim who owns this cake shop,” he explained again. (Bembo)
