progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – The Polres Metro Jakarta Timur Precision Pioneer Patrol (3P) Team showed quick and responsive action when dispersing a group of teenagers who were suspected of brawling on Jalan Otista Raya, Jatinegara, Jakarta Timur. A total of four teenagers were arrested.
Kasat Samapta Polres Metro Jakarta Timur, Kompol Capt. Hendra Wijaya in his statement said, that the disciplinary action was carried out in the early hours of Thursday, (23/5) when the 3P Team was on patrol combing Jalan Otista Raya.
“When the 3P Team was patrolling the Jalan Otista Raya area, Jatinegara, Jakarta Timur, a group of teenagers were seen starting to fight. The 3P Team immediately moved to attack and disperse them,” said Kompol Hendra.
In this action, Kompol Hendra continued, apart from confiscating 4 teenagers, he also confiscated evidence of sharp weapons such as a 2-bladed sickle and a 2-bladed corbek. Also confiscated were 1 cell phone and 1 motorbike belonging to the perpetrator of the brawl.
The four teenagers who were arrested along with all the evidence are now at the Polres Metro Jakarta Timur for further examination. Kompol Hendra also emphasized that his party would continue to patrol intensively to prevent brawls from occurring in the Jakarta Timur area. (Bembo)
