progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – Polres Metro Jakarta Timur investigators will take the Honda Mobilio belonging to a rental boss from Jakarta, BH (52) who was killed by a mob in Sukolilo, Pati, Central Java. The car was taken to facilitate the process of investigating alleged embezzlement reported by the victim at the Polres Metro Jakarta Timur.
Kapolres Metro Jakarta Timur, Kombes Pol Nicolas Ary Lilipaly in his statement when confirmed by journalists said, that the chronology of this case began with the BH victim’s report to investigators. He said the car was rented by a man with the initials RP for a period of 2 months. However, it turned out that RP didn’t return the car after the rental period expired.
Victim BH also informed that the vehicle he rented was detected in the Banten area. But the vehicle turned out to have moved the next day.
“A task order has been issued for investigators or investigators to go together with the deceased (reporter) to the Banten area according to GPS instructions. However, the next day, the deceased informed us that the vehicle was no longer in the Banten area,” said Kapolres Nicolas, Tuesday , (18/6).
Victim BH, he continued, then said he would periodically inform investigators of the whereabouts of the car. However, unexpectedly, the victim was determined to go to Pati without being accompanied by investigators to take the car. Unfortunately, he was mistaken for a thief and beaten by a crowd until he died there.
The case of the beating that killed victim BH has been handled by the Polresta Pati together with the Polda Jawa Tengah. The 10 perpetrators of the attack have now been arrested and investigations are still being carried out. (Bembo)
