progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – The top fugitive from the White Elephant Country who is also the most wanted kingpin of the international network of narcotics syndicates in Thailand, Chaowalit Thongduang was deported to his home country via Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Chaowalit was ‘kicked’ out of Indonesia on Tuesday, (4/6) at 15.00 WIB.
Head of the National Police’s Intermediary Division, Irjen Pol Krishna Murti in his official statement said, that the process of repatriating Chaowalit was carried out using a police to police cooperation mechanism or using immigration violation instruments so that the person concerned was deported.
Moreover, continued Irjen Pol Krishna Murti, Chaowalit entered Indonesia not through a legal entry point. He entered Indonesia by speedboat from Thailand to Aceh.
“He was accommodated by their agents from their relations in Aceh, facilitated and the perpetrators who facilitated it have been arrested by the Polda Aceh,” he explained at Soekarno – Hatta Airport, Tuesday, (4/6).
Regarding the Chaowalit deportation process, Irjen Pol Krishna Murti said, that the Polri was handling the Thai Police. The mechanism is carried out by Bareskrim which is facilitated by Hubinter for immigration. Next, Immigration issues a deportation stamp.
“A replacement letter for a passport (SPLP) has also been prepared from the Thai Embassy,” he said.
Furthermore, Irjen Pol Krishna Murti who was accompanied by the Director of Narcotics, Bareskrim Polri, Brigjen Pol Mukti Juharsa also expressed his thanks to the Immigration ranks who had supported the efforts to ‘kick’ Chaowalit Thongduang out of Indonesia.
“Chaowalit was ‘kicked’ out of Indonesia escorted by 10 Polri members from Bareskrim, Polda Sumut and Intermediate using a plane managed by Thailand,” he said. (Bembo)
