progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – A total of 1.546 various criminal cases were successfully uncovered by the Polri in a week from 19 to 26 July 2024. Starting from drug cases, gambling, TPPO, social diseases (pekat), minor crimes (tipiring), to cases that went viral and attracted public attention.
Head of the Public Information Bureau of the Polri Public Relations Division, Brigjen Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in his official statement explained, that of the thousands of cases uncovered, the most sympathetic traffic warnings were 500 cases. Followed by 325 cases of minor crimes or tipiring.
“The disclosure of drug cases is in third place with 178 cases. Then there are 67 cases of assault and 50 cases of motor vehicle theft or curanmor,” said Brigjen Pol Trunoyudo in his written statement, Saturday, (27/7) yesterday.
Next, continued Brigjen Pol Trunoyudo, there are 38 cases of online and offline gambling. Then there are 37 cases of ordinary theft and 36 cases of aggravated theft or curat.
“The curat cases are also classified as viral or attract public attention. Just like the cases of indecent assault 31 cases, murder 30 cases and theft with violence or curas 17 cases,” he said again.
The next disclosures are cases of sexual intercourse 17 cases, traffic accidents 35 cases and possession of sharp weapons 30 cases, then cases of human trafficking or TPPO as many as 4 cases, mining without a permit or illegal mining 2 cases, exploration and processing of petroleum without a permit or illegal drilling 1 case and logging without a permit in the forest or illegal logging also 1 case.
Next is the disclosure of alcoholic beverages or liquor as many as 8 cases, discovery of corpses 7 cases, fire 3 cases, vandalism 5 cases, fiduciary 2 cases, mob violence 14 cases, domestic violence or KDRT 5 cases and counterfeit money 1 case. (Bembo)
