He didn’t hesitate to make a police report (LP) after receiving a pick-up order for instant noodles which turned out to contain crystal methamphetamine (sabu) in the Kampung Ambon area, Jakarta Barat. This case is currently being investigated by the Polres Metro Jakarta Barat Narcotics Unit.
Kabid Humas of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ari Syam Indradi in his official statement admitted that he appreciated MR’s honesty and courage in reporting this matter. He also said, that this incident had also gone viral on social media. Mentioned in the viral post, said Kombes Pol Ade Ary, MR experienced this incident last Monday, (1/7) evening.
He explained, that based on information obtained by MR at that time he received an order from someone to pick up a package of 1 pack of instant noodles and a bottle of drink near Kampung Ambon, Jakarta Barat.
After the package was picked up, on the way, suspicion arose in his heart because the order he received was strange. The customer only asked to take 1 pack of instant noodles and a bottle of drink. “If it’s just a pack of instant noodles, why do you have to use a motorcycle taxi service,” MR said to himself.
Because his heart continued to feel strange and suspicious, he finally took the package to the police. After opening, the instant noodles showed crystal grains which were strongly suspected to be sabu.
“Now this case is being investigated by the sender and recipient by the Narcotics Unit of the Polres Metro Jakarta Barat. The progress will be conveyed later,” said Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi, Wednesday, (3/7). (Bembo)
