Also joining the patrol were Kapolres Arya, Dandim 0508 Depok Kolonel Inf Iman Widhiarto, Assistant to the Depok City Regional Government, Gandaria Budiana, Depok City Transportation Agency, as well as the Harley Motorcycle Community and MBI Depok.
The starting joint patrol led by Kapolres Arya moved from the Polres Metro Depok Headquarters to a number of areas, including residential areas, shopping centers and areas that are often targets of criminals, especially robberies and brawls.
In this activity, officers also carry out dialogue patrols by providing outreach and giving advice during pit stops to the public about the importance of cooperation in maintaining environmental security.
Meanwhile, Kapolres Metro Depok, Kombes Pol Arya Perdana, in his statement said, that the intensity of patrols would continue to be increased, especially in areas that have a high level of vulnerability.
“We will not give room for criminals to act in Depok City. All members of the Polres Metro Depok are ready to be on standby 24 hours to maintain Kamtibmas while reducing the crime rate in Depok City,” he stressed yesterday.
Furthermore, Kapolres Arya also expressed his invitation to the community so that they can participate more actively in maintaining the security of their environment. He also appealed to the public to immediately report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
“We need full support from the community. Without good cooperation, our efforts will not be optimal,” he said again.
This evening’s joint patrol activity also received an enthusiastic response from the community. Every resident who was met during the dialogue patrol moment admitted that they felt calmer with the presence of security officers on patrol.
