progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – A total of 2.177 joint personnel were put on alert by Polda Metro Jaya to secure the registration activities of the Gubernatorial and Deputy Gubernatorial Candidates at the DKI Jakarta KPUD and the demonstration held by the Student Executive Board of Indraparasta PGRI University (BEM Undindra PGRI).
Kabid Humas of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi in his official explanation said, that the joint personnel on alert consisted of
Regional Task Force (Satgasda), Resort Task Force (Satgasres), TNI, DKI Jakarta Regional Government, KPU RI and DKI Jakarta KPUD. All of these elements carried out integrated security by prioritizing preemptive, preventive and law enforcement security activities.
He said that, the security pattern itself would be divided into several places. The area around the KPU RI and KPUD DKI Jakarta will be placed with 1.088 personnel, as well as anticipation of securing the demonstration in the DPR RI building area, in front of the Palace, Sapta Pesona and Monas as many as 1.089 personnel.
Meanwhile, for the traffic engineering scheme, continued Kombes Pol Ade Ary, it is still situational depending on the escalation in the field.
“If the number of people and escalation increases, there will be diversions and road closures. But if the number of people is not large, traffic will be normal as usual,” he said, Tuesday, (27/8).
Furthermore, he also conveyed an appeal to the public and demonstrators to continue to adhere to regulations according to applicable legal regulations.
“Please convey your aspirations calmly and peacefully. There is no hate speech and provocative speech that can disrupt the stability of public order,” he said again.
Meanwhile, for the field coordinators (korlap) and orators, Kombes Pol Ade Ary also reminded them to give speeches politely and not provoke the masses.
“Demonstrate peacefully, do not force your will, do not be anarchic and do not damage public facilities. Respect and appreciate other road users who will pass by,” he reminded. (Bembo)
