progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – A single accident occurred in the Senopati area, South Jakarta, Sunday (8/9) morning. A Toyota Innova Zenix car crashed into a Japanese restaurant, destroying the front of the restaurant.
As seen from the video uploaded on social media today, the Innova Zenix car was stuck inside the restaurant. The restaurant’s windows were broken and shards were scattered. The door and several other restaurant buildings were also damaged.
Kabid Humas of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi explained in his statement, that the incident occurred at 04.45 WIB this morning. The Innova Zenix car driven by a man FN (30) was known to be driving from north to south.
Upon arriving at the scene, the car lost control and swerved. The car then crashed into a Japanese restaurant on the side of Jalan Senopati.
“The car lost control and crashed into a restaurant. A single traffic accident occurred that resulted in damage to the vehicle and restaurant property,” said Kombes Pol Ade Ary to reporters today.
“There were no casualties. The cause of the accident is under investigation. The driver reportedly went to Pertamina Hospital after the incident. But after being checked by members at the hospital, there was nothing. Members are coordinating with the driver’s family and there is currently no confirmation,” he said again.
Furthermore, Kombes Pol Ade Ary also conveyed his appeal to the public to always be careful when driving. He also asked drivers to pay attention to the roadworthiness of their vehicles. (Bembo)
