progresifjaya.id, NGANJUK – Talking about wayang art means talking about edipeniadiluhung art. Talking about the beauty of an art that contains the values of life’s virtues. Also talking about the philosophy of freedom of views, the philosophy that prioritizes dialogue in differences, and the philosophy of tolerance towards plurality to accept other communities.
The strong views and beliefs about the various philosophies of wayang art are also clearly embedded in Babinsa Kodim 0810/Nganjuk, Koptu Parnianto. In a 3,53-minute video entitled Wayang & Bela Negara, the vibration of the philosophy contained in wayang art is clearly heard from his narration.
“Since i was little, i have often been invited to watch wayang performances. Finally, i liked it and started learning to make wayang from cardboard when i was in elementary school. In the end, this art has become my method now as Babinsa to be able to get close to the community,” he said with a cheerful face.
It is said, one example of the application of his method from the art of wayang he did during the dry season recently. In order to convey a message to the community to avoid burning during the dry season, he always inserts the figure of Batara Brahma when he is having a dialogue.
In Javanese mythology, Batara Brahma is the figure of the god of fire. The son of Sanghyang Pramesti Batara Guru and Dewi Umayi who lives in Kayangan Deksina Geni is known to have supernatural powers to destroy evil with his sacred fire.
“Yes, in every dialogue i have with the community i always insert the figure of Batara Brahma to discuss. In essence, i want the community to always be aware of the dangers of playing with fire during the dry season when remembering Batara Brahma that i told. My method is actually that simple,” he said again.
Furthermore, regarding the application of the philosophy of wayang art that is believed, Koptu Parnianto also introduced the principles of national insight and national defense to elementary school children with the figure of wayang. Because the audience he is facing are still children, the puppet figures that appear are chosen to be funny figures such as Petruk, Bagong and Gareng.
So far, the methods and methods used by Koptu Parnianto with his puppet art have proven to be effective as expected. The messages he conveys can always be accepted and understood by the people he is talking to. His communication relationship with the community feels fluid and his figure is built close and always remembered by the community. It is no different from the puppet figures that he discusses when talking to the community.
Responding to Koptu Parnianto’s methods and methods with his puppet art philosophy to the community, Dandim 0810/Nganjuk, Letkok Inf Andi Sasmito frankly admitted that he really appreciates it. He also hopes that what Koptu Parnianto believes and does can continue to be maintained and preserved.
“My message to my Babinsa, Koptu Parnianto is to stay enthusiastic. Also, continue to maintain the preservation of this excellent wayang culture until the end of life,” said Dandim Andi Sasmito encouragingly. (Bembo)
