progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – Kapolres Metro Jakarta Utara, Kombes Pol Gidion Arif Setyawan was directly involved in leading security in the Ancol area on the third day of Eid 2024, Friday, (12/4).
Maximum security services are provided to all visitors who come to enjoy the various rides in the tourist area.
“Today we provide maximum security and service at Taman Impian Jaya Ancol. The third day of Eid here has become one of the favorite tourist attractions for residents, both inside and outside Jakarta,” said Kapolres Gidion at the Ancol security location.
It was explained that around 161 joint officers were deployed to secure the Ancol area. The joint officers came from elements of the National Polri, TNI, Satpol PP, Transportation Agency, Scouts and Ancol internal security.
According to him, this maximum security is carried out so that Ancol visitors feel safe and comfortable receiving services from the police.
“We provide the best service as much as possible. Anticipating acts of theft and pickpocketing as well as services for children who are separated from their parents,” he said.
He also revealed, that the number of visitors to Ancol on the third day of Eid reached 58,522 people. Meanwhile, 7,011 vehicles entered and 3,800 motorbikes.
All of these vehicles are still stored in parking lots in the Ancol area. However, if there is parking congestion, said Kapolres Gidion, vehicles will be diverted outside Ancol.
“Parking inside (Ancol) is sufficient. If there is parking congestion, parking will be prepared at Kemayoran C 3 and Jalan Benyamin Sueb,” he said again. (Bembo)
