Enter the police number

Enter the 16-digit Population Identification Number (NIK), but it is optional so it does not need to be filled in

Check “I’m not a robot”

Then click “Search”

After that, the Samsat page will show detailed information on the vehicle license plate and the amount of tax to be paid.

2. Via SMS

In addition to the Samsat website, the public can also check vehicle license plates via SMS services. The steps are as follows:

Open the Message menu on your smartphone

Then send an SMS with the format: INFO (space) RANMOR (space) vehicle number without spaces

Example: INFO RANMOR B6781TIM

Send to 8893

Then wait for a reply SMS from the Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate.  After that, detikers will get information in the form of brand, type, color, validity period of STNK, until the due date for vehicle STNK extension.

3. Through the JAKI Application

JAKI is an application owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government that has a number of powerful features. One of them is checking vehicle license plates and tax details. The steps are as follows:

Download the JAKI application on the Play Store or App Store

Register by entering your email address and password

If so, on the main page select the “Tax” menu

Then select the “Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB)” option

Tap “PKB Information”

Then enter the police number

Then tap “Check Tax”
