progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – The Polri alerted 2.959 joint personnel to secure the Bhayangkara 78th Anniversary people’s party which was held at Monas, Jakarta Pusat, Monday, (1/7) today.
Kapolres Metro Jakarta Pusat, Kombes Pol Susatyo Purnomo Condro in his official statement said, that the thousands of personnel who were alerted to provide security were combined elements from Polda Metro Jaya, Polres Metro Jakarta Pusat, TNI, DKI Regional Government and related agencies. Thousands of personnel were distributed to a number of points in the area around Monas.
“We urge residents to be orderly in watching the concert and series of ceremonies for Bhayangkara’s 78th anniversary. Beware of criminals such as pickpockets. Secure valuables such as cellphones, jewelry and wallets,” said Kapolres Susatyo at the event location.
He also reminded all personnel involved in security to act persuasively. The personnel were also asked not to carry firearms when providing security.
“All free food and drinks are provided by the committee. Those who bring children or toddlers should pay attention not to lose sight of their supervision. If you are tired or sick, immediately contact medical personnel to help,” said Kapolres Susatyo again. (Bembo)
