Tomorrow’s Presidential Election Dispute Decision Hearing at the MK, Polda Metro Deploys 7.773 Security Personnel, JAKARTA – Ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election dispute decision hearing at the Constitutional Court (MK) Building, Monday, (22/4) tomorrow, Polda Metro Jaya has alerted 7.783 security personnel. Thousands of personnel will be assigned to various sectors such as the MK, Bawaslu and Monas, including to provide security for tomorrow’s demonstration regarding tomorrow’s trial.

This is the statement from the Kabid Humas of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi, received by journalists, Sunday, (21/4).

He also said, that the traffic engineering scheme being prepared was still situational, depending on conditions in the field. If escalation increases and is necessary, the scheme will be implemented.

“So we urge people who will pass in front of the MK Building to look for alternative routes because there will be a demonstration to convey their opinions in front of the MK Building,” he said.

Kombes Pol Ade Ary also conveyed his appeal to the demonstration participants to pay attention to the rights of other people.

“We urge anyone who will express an opinion in public, as regulated in the law, to also pay attention to the rights of other people. Comply with all regulations regarding expressing opinions in public,” he stressed.

He also reminded all personnel involved in security to always act persuasively, not be provoked, prioritize negotiations, provide humane service and carry out their duties according to procedures.

Not to forget, Kombes Pol Ade Ary also invited all elements of society to always maintain social security, harmony and national unity.

“We urge the public to pray for the progress and prosperity of the Indonesian nation. Let us work together to maintain the unity and unity of the nation.
