“This program is real evidence of the Polri’s efforts to provide innovative and environmentally friendly public services. Utilizing waste as a means of exchange also allows customers to get multiple benefits, especially for students,” said Kompol Anom to progresifjaya.id, Wednesday, (6/18).
“In addition to easy access to police services, students’ concern for the environment is also automatically boosted. Students will become more think smart when it comes to the environment,” he added.
For this program, the Cirebon Polresta Department continues to promote socialization, especially to schools. As a stimulus, schools are then given a waste bank savings book. Meanwhile, students become customers and are invited to collect plastic waste to fill the waste bank. The results of the plastic waste collection can later be used by students to pay for the cost of making a SIM and SKCK at the Cirebon Polresta Department Satpas.
“The latest result of the program socialization to schools is the making of SKCK for 27 students of SMK Budi Tresna last May.
