Welcoming Bhayangkara’s 78th Anniversary, Polda Metro Collaborates with Forkopimda DKI to Carry Out Clean-up Action

progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – Welcoming Bhayangkara’s 78th anniversary, Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Karyoto immediately took part in leading the clean-up action in Pegangsaan Village, Menteng, Jakarta Pusat, Sunday, (23/6) morning.

Also taking part in the clean-up in this activity were the ranks of DKI Forkopimda, Wakapolda Metro Jaya, Brigjen Pol Suyudi Ario Seto, Kasdam Jaya, Brigjen TNI Tatang Subarna, Mayor of Jakarta Timur, M. Anwar, Kapolres Metro Jakarta Timur, Kombes Pol Nicolas Ary Lilipaly, Kapolres Metro Jakarta Pusat, Kombes Pol Susatyo Purnomo Condro, Dandim 0505 Jakarta Timur, Kolonel Arm Suyikno and the main officials (PJU) of Polda Metro Jaya.

When giving his speech, Kapolda Karyoto said, that this activity was part of Polda Metro Jaya’s social service to commemorate the 78th Bhayangkara Day in 2024. He also expressed his thanks to all parties who had participated in this clean-up activity.

“Hopefully the activities we are carrying out can provide benefits to the community by keeping the environment clean while also helping residents in need,” said Kapolda Karyoto.

Furthermore, he also invited all elements of society and Polda Metro Jaya personnel to work together to become caring figures, whether they care about health or the cleanliness of their environment.

He also invited the TNI, Polri, Forkopimda and all elements of society to participate in a number of activities that had been scheduled by Polda Metro Jaya.

Some of the activities that have been scheduled include environmental cleaning activities, which include cleaning places of worship, public facilities and rivers. Then there are also activities to distribute basic necessities to residents in need, as well as planting trees to support and preserve the environment and nature.

“Hopefully all these activities can further strengthen the relationship between the Polri and the community. They can also provide real benefits for the environment and community welfare,” said Kapolda Karyoto again.

“And hopefully we can continue to maintain and improve this spirit of togetherness and care in the future,” he added.

Furthermore, he also said, that Bhayangkara Day was an important moment for the Polri family to reflect again on their roles and responsibilities to serve and protect the community. At the age of 78, this reflection must be more optimally manifested in people’s lives.

“The Polri must be more mature, more modern, more open and also closer to the community at the age of 78. They must also not be anti-criticism because this actually hinders our introspection and evaluation in order to be able to serve the community better,” he said. reminded at the end of the speech.
