progresifjaya.id, DEPOK – Welcoming the splendor of the aura of Bhayangkara’s 78th anniversary, Polda Metro Jaya together with Polres Metro Depok carried out a charity program to renovate the homes of the families of retired Polri officers who had fallen. This activity ceremony took place in Cipayung Jaya Village, Depok, Tuesday, (25/6).
This event was also witnessed by the Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo from Bhayangkara Field, Polri Headquarters
via the virtual zoom meeting channel.
The Polda Metro Jaya house renovation program together with the Polres Metro Depok was carried out in two locations in Depok. Firstly at the residence of the late Iptu (Ret.) Sulaeman in Setu Bojonggede Village and the residence of the late Aiptu Harajudin Harahap on Jalan Rawasari, Pancoran Mas District.
The aim of this community service program is to help the families of retired military personnel whose houses are unfit to live in so that they can become livable.
Apart from renovating the homes of retired Polri officers, the splendor of the aura of Bhayangkara’s 78th Anniversary was also filled by Polda Metro Jaya and Polres Metro Depok with social actions for cleaning and maintaining places of worship, as well as distributing basic food packages to people in need, including the poor and retired Polri officers.
In his official statement, the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Karyoto also expressed his hope, that the Polri, especially Polda Metro Jaya, in the future can be better and more loved by the public.
“Hopefully at the age of 78 the Polri can be more professional and humane in carrying out their duties as servants, protectors, guardians and law enforcers,” said Kapolda Karyoto.
On the same occasion, Kapolres Metro Depok, Kombes Pol Arya Perdana in his direction said, through this activity it is hoped that community welfare can also increase. In accordance with the theme of Bhayangkara’s 78th Anniversary, namely “Togetherness and Social Concern”, it is also hoped that the relationship between the Polri, the families of retired officers and residents can be closer and in line with the spirit of Bhayangkara Day.
Also present at this ceremony were the Wakapolda Metro Jaya, the main officials (PJU) and Bhayangkari Polda Metro Jaya, retired Polri officers, religious leaders, community leaders and residents of Cipayung Jaya Village, Depok City. (Bembo)
