progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – Subdit Jatanras Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya busted an online gambling house run by a family in the Cibinong area, Bogor Regency, West Java. This case was revealed as a result of a cyber patrol that discovered a game application suspected of being online gambling under the name Royal Domino.
Dirreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Wira Satya Triputra in his official explanation, revealed that the Royal Domino online gambling headquarters is managed by one family with varying ages. There are father, mother and child.
“Royal Domino is owned and managed by 5 people from the same family. They are EA (48), AL (48), NA (23), AT (22) and IL (44),” said Kombes Pol Wira who was accompanied by the Kabid Humas of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi to journalists, Thursday, (6/6).
Their function and role is to provide an office or place to prepare equipment, prepare facilities and infrastructure, recruit and conduct training, and provide salaries to admins.
Apart from securing 5 people from one family who were the owners and managers, for your information there were 18 admins who were also arrested in the robbery of the Royal Domino online gambling headquarters. They are AN, LU, RL, YGS, YS, LAA, GSL, RN, MAP, JA, JB, EF, DR, MSH, AS, SMR, TN, and DH.
The duties of these 18 people are to carry out promotions via the WhatsApp application, provide chip sales and purchases and handle bookkeeping.
“So we have arrested a total of 23 suspects from the Royal Domino online gambling house,” said Kombes Pol Wira again.
He said, that in the Royal Domino application it is known that there are many gambling games provided. Some of them include dominoes, duofu, duocai, slots, cards and fishing. All of these games can be played using chips as a betting tool. These chips are available in 4 online gambling applications which are created for the process of buying chips and reselling them.
The price of one billion chips is marketed at Rp65.000. Players can transfer money to purchase chips via the existing account or e-wallet account.
“After the player makes a payment, the admin will send the chip to the player’s account. The chip can be used to access or place bets on the application that is available on the Royal Domino application,” explained Kombes Pol Wira.
He also added, that players who win can exchange their winnings in the form of chips. Every one billion chips owned by a player is valued at Rp60.000 to be exchanged for rupiah.
“If the player has 1 billion chips, he will be rewarded with Rp60.000. So here, the difference in profits earned by these managers is Rp5.000,” said Kombes Pol Wira.
“The profit or turnover from the difference in buying and selling chips is estimated at tens of billions of rupiah since it started operating in 2022 until finally their business was busted and they were arrested,” he added, emphasizing again. (Bembo)
