Before serving as Dirlantas Polda Metro, Yusuf had held the positions of Kapolres and Dirlantas in several Polda. Kombes Pol Yusuf served as Dirlantas for Polda Metro Jaya until February 2020.
After that, he moved to Korlantas Polri also with the record of breaking his star to become Pati Polri with the rank of Brigjen Pol. He served as Director of Registration and Identification (Regident) of the Kakorlantas Polri replacing Brigjen Pol Halim Paggara who was transferred as Wakapolda Sulsel.

3. Kombes Pol Sambodo Purnomo Yogo
Kombes Pol Sambodo Purnomo Yogo served as Dirlantas for Polda Metro Jaya replacing Kombes Pol Yusuf based on the Kapolri’s Telegram Letter Number ST/385/II/KEP/2020. The handover of positions took place February 15 2020.
Kombes Pol Sambodo was born in Binjai, July 3 1973. This 1994 graduate of the Tunggal Panaluan Akpol Battalion also had a long career in the traffic sector. Previously, he served as an Intermediate Policy Analyst for the Polri’s Binmas Baharkam Division.
His figure rose to the surface after being directly involved in leading the ban on returning home for Eid in 2020. Tirelessly he went back and forth in the field to enforce government regulations when Indonesia was in a state of emergency at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
He served as Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya for two years. After that, based on the Telegram Letter from the Kapolri Number ST/214/VI/KEP/2022 concerning Dismissal from and Appointment to Positions within the Police, dated 20 June 2022, he is the older brother of the Kapolres Metro Jakarta Pusat, Kombes Pol Susatyo Purnomo Condro has been transferred to Polri Headquarters.
Along with this mutation, his career was also accompanied by a guarantee of becoming a Pati with the rank of Brigjen Pol. He was also entrusted with a new position as Head of the Strategic Policy Bureau at the Deputy for Budget Planning of the Polri (Karojakstra Srena Polri). He replaced the position of Brigjen Pol Kasmudi who was assigned to be Wakapolda for North Kalimantan.
