progresifjaya.id, BEKASI – The Polsek Medan Satria Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested N (61), a father in Bekasi, West Java who had the heart to beat his biological son, C (35) using a crowbar until he died. However, N’s status is still not a suspect in this case.
Kapolsek Medan Satria, Kompol Nur Aqsha in his official statement explained, that N wasn’t yet a suspect because investigators were still conducting in-depth investigations. Apart from that, investigators are also still waiting for the results of the autopsy on C’s body.
He also said, that witness examinations must be carried out to find out the truth of the incident.
“We are still investigating, we are still in the process. Witness examinations must be carried out to establish the true nature of the incident. What is certain is that we have arrested the perpetrator,” said Kapolsek Nur Aqsha, Saturday, (4/5).
“We are also still waiting for the results of the official autopsy from the Polri Hospital as to what the cause of death was, right? So we are still investigating. We will convey the developments later. Basically, right now we are still investigating, yes, we are still examining all the complete witnesses, so we can get a real chronology. what it’s like,” he added, explaining.
For your information, the fatal incident occurred on Thursday, (2/5). The incident was triggered due to family problems. There were disputes and family problems with the victim, which caused a commotion at the house of N, the victim’s biological father.
Kapolsek Nur Aqsha explained, that the incident started when C was looking for his wife who had run away to her father’s house, N.
However, C’s wife wasn’t at N’s house. But C’s emotions were aroused because he couldn’t find his wife at his father’s house.
“The victim asked the perpetrator, who is also his father, ‘Sir, is my wife at home or is she at her parents’ house?’ Coincidentally, his wife’s parents’ house is close to the crime scene, it’s still like neighbors, maybe, but in a different village, so that’s basically what they were looking for, they weren’t there, they weren’t there, they were even emotional victims,” said Kapolsek Nur Aqsha.
In an emotional state, he continued, C suddenly attacked N with a penknife. N then defended himself from the attack and took a crowbar which he smashed into C’s chest until he fell.
